My sister's blog about Lost in Space reminded me about my childhood crush on Billy Mumy who played Will Robinson on the show. He was also in the movie Rascal, about a boy and his raccoon. I vividly remember seeing him on the big movie poster and wanting it so badly I asked the manager if I could have it after the run of the movie. He told me that he had to send it back to the distributor. I am amazed at my boldness at as a 7th grader!
Bill Mumy is still around as an actor and musician. I just saw him in a rerun of Crossing Jordan.
