My cousin Matt Hill passed away yesterday from a short, but serious bout with testicular cancer. He was diagnosed around New Year's Day, but by then the cancer had invaded his liver, lungs and brain.
He had a positive attitude until the end as evidenced by his blog titled Matt's Spectacular Testacular Cancer Blog. He was such a talent man with a gift for drama and song. His students at Scottsdale Community College will sorely miss him.
Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer just days before he was to be sealed to his wife, Liz, for time and all eternity. Such is the irony of life.
Matt leaves a giant hole in our lives.
